Allergies In Babies

Allergic reactions in babies or hypersensitivity is an excessive immune response, with varying degrees from mild to severe, on the substance under normal condition is not really dangerous. Immune system protects body against harmful substances (antigens).

 In sensitive people, the immune system can overreact to substances which for most people is usually not harmful because of an allergic. Allergies suffered by each person is not same, some people only allergic one of substance, while the others may be allergic to various substances.

Baby and young children are generally easier to get allergies because their immune systems are still not fully developed and is still early stages of adaptation to the surrounding environment. Allergen will cause allergic reactions through direct contact with Skin, respiratory tract (inhalation), gastrointestinal tract (the consumption of food/drinks) or injections (injection or bites, insect stings).

Allergies reactions can be seasonal allergies (like hay fever) which is caused by plant pollen. Allergic reactions can also caused by medicine, certain foods, dust or animal fur. The cause of most allergies in babies 0 -1 years old of food (milk) medicine, infections, insect, certain systemic diseases.
